Indeed, we were very close!

Internet High Five!

It was definitely fun playing this together.

I made it to 4-5 on Yoshi's Island before calling it a night. Shame the game doesn't save your stocked lives, I'd racked up over 50.

That's the problem with a lot of the old Nintendo platformers. They just do "location saves", as I call them.

Still not as bad as some of the early NES games like Zelda I & II and Dragon Warrior.

So Zero Mission is the remake and Fusion is the original title for the GBA? I'm always getting them mixed up.

Prices are easy to remember: both going for $20 and up :(
They're also both worth getting either way.
Thirded. Zero Mission doesn't even seem like a "remake".

Still no progress for my list. I might just have a coke and a smile and enjoy your guys' progress.

I know, but after I saw one of them for $25 at the flea market, I got so upset that even those games fall under the Nintendo Premium. When I seriously want them, I know I'll find a better price. Right now my interest in them is casual.

You really need to play it on the GBA. Super Mario Advance 3 saves your stocked lives, and you can get more than 99. Plus, 6 new exclusive levels, 1 in each world, upon game completion.

Started Final Fantasy VI last night. I'm at the entrance to the South Figaro cave, so I'm only about an hour and a half in, but so far I'm diggin' it. I thought it was cute how when I fought those Magiteks, Locke and Edward, right in the middle of battle, went on a tangent about "Look! Magic! OMG!"

To my knowledge - and despite its extensive roster - he does not appear in MvC2, however.
I'm guessing not, that is the Mortal Kombat Warehouse after all

har har har

I played a bit of both Mega Man and Symphony of the Night tonight.

Is the original Mega Man exponentially harder than the other games in the series or do I just suck? Probably a combination of both.

Symphony feels odd to me. Perhaps because I have no Castlevania experience whatsoever. The map system is pretty crappy compared to something like Super Metroid. And button sequences to cast spells? What is this - Street Fighter? The graphics and music are beautiful though, and I anticipate the game will grow on me. Gonna try to finish this one and then I'll go back to Mega Man.
