howlongtobeat.com puts it at 13 1/2 hours and completion at 20 hours. That makes it nearly as long as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. If you pick it up, then you can at least rest assured that you will be getting your money's worth.

It's even cheaper with Gamers Club Unlocked.
Reviews and responses were mixed for this game. What's it like? Is it any good?
Lost in shadow has the core mechanics of a retro 2D platformer a la' Super Mario, Mappy, or Elevator Action. The player is literally a shadow separated from a boy (in the spirit of Peter Pan). You play as a shadow. The light cast on the wall affects the play field. It's a neat gimmick, but it's kind of a one-trick pony.

What makes this game unique is style. The muted color palette lends to a peaceful atmosphere. The music sometimes betrays a melancholy dread. Exposition is limited.

I enjoyed Lost in Shadow, but only because I fall into the narrow market niche of young adults who hunger for more 2D platformers. If you're looking for shiny colors, gritty realism, tons of action, or a deep story... look elsewhere.

F1 2009 Formua 1 had a one time print run and was exclusively sold only thru Gamestop. Bought retagged new to used for only $11.96 posted over in the Game Finds Thread along with other Wii goodies. Possibly a few other rarities that could shoot up in price later?

I still can't believe F1 2009 is going for $244.99 at Amazon.

This game at Gamestop was RETAGGED FROM NEW TO USED! The new tag was on the binder edge dating from Nov-17-2009! The used tag shows the game on the shelf since Aug-07-2013, was very lucky to get this! Formula 1 had a one time print run for sale exclusive at only Gamestop! It even supports an actual Wii Logitech (not Wiimote mount) driving controller. Since there is also a Classic Controller option, with a Mayflash adapter I can use a variety of Playstation driving Controllers.

Be sure to read the descriptions on the listings, some are missing a manual or disc only. Some are used CIB and averaging around forty bucks SHIPPED, but not pristine and could have some wear. However, kinda nuts that some of the used listings are also at the hundred dollar mark.

Gamestop has retagged all their F1 2009 from new to used, a great way to get a pristine copy if you don't mind the saran wrap removed. I consider my unscathed shiny copy as used, but it did come with that new price label proving it is new, never sold or traded in. Online, unscratched new copies with crisp manual are over two hundred dollar bucks.

The $200 sale listed on Pricecharting was for new/sealed with the wheel, and it's the highest they have a record of the game going for. Looks like most of the very few, very rare $100+ sales are new/sealed.

Obviously, ~$45 used is still high for the Wii version of a racing game, but that seems to be more in line with what it regularly goes for once opened.

'course, that doesn't change wishful thinking on the part of Amazon sellers

Amazon prices aren't real for out of print games. By which I mean, asking prices on Amazon when there are only 1, 2, or 3 copies among the entire Amazon Marketplace (third party sellers) are pure speculation. The only thing that's "real" is if you have at least a handful of _sold_ listings on eBay in the past 6 months. If you don't have at least that, it's just people throwing darts with blindfolds on.

I picked up a mint copy of the game a few years ago (it was about $50 used) and promptly sold it. I didn't much care for the framerate slowdown.

Just bought a copy of Calling on the Wii. This one looks pretty unknown at the moment, and being a Hudson game (now defunct) it looks to remain exclusive to the Wii indefinitely. A few other Hudson games like Marble Mania and Marble Saga are also likely in the same boat.
