Have you tried Octodad yet? I was thinking of picking that one up. I played the demo at Best Buy Saturday. Nothing groundbreaking, but it might be fun for an hour or two.
It's only an hour or two, and it's decent.

Yeah I broke down last night and bought it. I didn't get to play it very long but so far it's entertaining.

This is a good port of one of the most heavily criticized Final Fantasy titles.

Most of the issues regarding the leveling system have been ironed out, which leads to a much more streamlined and enjoyable experience. It's infinitely more playable than the Famicom original or WonderSwan Color/PSX ports. Newcomers should start here or on the PSP. I'm very glad I gave the game another shot.

Onward to part 3! (eventually...)

I really liked the GBA port of FFII, but FFIII is far superior to any version of its predecessor. You need to play it ASAP!

Looks like Boner will have the most games beaten this year.

It's never been a competition, but I don't think I have the time to match his current stride.

That it is, and I'm happy to say that I can actually complete FF1 thanks to this fantastic GBA port.

FF2 however, still not down with the "stop hurting yourself" mechanic to get levels.

FWIW, I think about 20 of his are arcade games that he admitedly just credit-fed through, so you could probably knock those out in a weekend following the same process if you wanted to "catch up".

Yes...but one of them is Shadow Blasters; so, try as we might, we really cannot diminish his accomplishment.

I finished Conception II - Children Of The Seven Stars last night. Took me 28 hours 57 minutes. I'd give it a 7/10.

I took a bunch of screenshots while playing the game:
Here is an album of gameplay shots:
Here is an album of some of the ecchi moments (NSFW):

My whoopty-doo overall takeaway:
Do you enjoy dating simulators, visual novels, ecchi harem anime, and dungeon crawlers? If so, you might enjoy Conception II, which is indeed a mashup of said genres. With excellent graphics and a phenomenal electronica OST, this game is pleasing both aesthetically and aurally. Gameplay is a little let down by a limp wristed story and vanilla dungeons, but stays interesting due to the complexity of the game's subsystems. A progressive and thoroughly modern experience, Conception II is a niche title if ever there was one.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
