Yeah I broke down last night and bought it. I didn't get to play it very long but so far it's entertaining.Violent By Design wrote:It's only an hour or two, and it's decent.graffix_13 wrote:Have you tried Octodad yet? First 50:
51. Ys: The Vanished Omens (Sega Master System)
52. Code of Princess (3DS)
53. Ys (PSP - Ys I & II Chronicles)
54. Ys II (PSP - Ys I & II Chronicles)
55. Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (PSP - Sega Genesis Collection)
56. Gradius (PSP - Gradius Collection)
57. Shinobi (Xbox 360 - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection)
58. Otomedius Excellent (Xbox 360)
59. Deathsmiles (Xbox 360)
60. Sonic the Hedgehog (Xbox 360 - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection)
61. The Lost Vikings (SNES)
62. The Lost Vikings (Genesis)
63. Final Fantasy II (Game Boy Advance - Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls)
This is a good port of one of the most heavily criticized Final Fantasy titles.
Most of the issues regarding the leveling system have been ironed out, which leads to a much more streamlined and enjoyable experience. It's infinitely more playable than the Famicom original or WonderSwan Color/PSX ports. Newcomers should start here or on the PSP. I'm very glad I gave the game another shot.
Onward to part 3! (eventually...)

I really liked the GBA port of FFII, but FFIII is far superior to any version of its predecessor. You need to play it ASAP!BoneSnapDeez wrote: 63. Final Fantasy II (Game Boy Advance - Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls)

Looks like Boner will have the most games beaten this year.
It's never been a competition, but I don't think I have the time to match his current stride.

That it is, and I'm happy to say that I can actually complete FF1 thanks to this fantastic GBA port.BoneSnapDeez wrote:63. Final Fantasy II (Game Boy Advance - Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls)

FF2 however, still not down with the "stop hurting yourself" mechanic to get levels.

FWIW, I think about 20 of his are arcade games that he admitedly just credit-fed through, so you could probably knock those out in a weekend following the same process if you wanted to "catch up".Luke wrote:Looks like Boner will have the most games beaten this year.

Yes...but one of them is Shadow Blasters; so, try as we might, we really cannot diminish his accomplishment.noiseredux wrote:and aren't like 30 of them ports of the Ys game?

Re: Games Beaten 2014

I finished Conception II - Children Of The Seven Stars last night. Took me 28 hours 57 minutes. I'd give it a 7/10.
I took a bunch of screenshots while playing the game:
Here is an album of gameplay shots:

My whoopty-doo overall takeaway:
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
