If the next time you go in for an interview and you are asked about the "Gap" in your employment, be sure to tell them about being a stay at home dad. They will know that you are good at managing priorities. That is, if they are worth the salt.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I'm intentionally not working, guys.![]()

Smile: Got back from the Man City victory parade. Cheered a lot, sang a lot of songs, got a wave from a few players. Then met up with the family to talk things over. It was nice. All my pictures came out shit though. Oh well, I was there, that's all that matters.

Frown: Having to tell people not to curse in public.
Am I the bigger doofus for telling dudes "There are women and children present. Please, watch your language"? Maybe. I don't seek out trouble, but I also don't back down from confrontation. Guys/women/aliens shouldn't be jerks in public, and 9.9 time out of 10 people usually apologize because they "check them self".
Then there is that small percentage that I have to wreck them self.
I hate violence, and at any time where I intervene I know that:
I could be arrested
My Career and reputation could be ruined
I could get my butt kicked
Things could become completely twisted if not recorded
Some nut job might actually kill me
So when dudes say "What is it worth? What is it worth to shut up one guy's mouth?" they have a completely valid point. I can't argue with their points. And I've never hit someone without being in a stance of advance. Words are stronger than fists and such.
That said, my Father raised me to stand up for what I believe, and I believe in protecting those I love, and myself.
Is it silly to think that "bad words" around kids and women is worth it? That's totally up for debate. But if I politely ask someone to "watch their language around women and children" and they respond with "Who the fuck are you?"...I can't be Mister nice guy anymore.
And at the end of the day, afternoon, night...it's not worth your time to deal with meanie-bo-feenies, but I'm a scout.
Frown: Can't do a back flip.
Smile: Can do a front flip.

As a bright bit of news, I'll likely be offered one of a few different positions at the town when they open in July. All is not lost!
Also taking up golfing so I have something to do with my dad.
