Well yeah but usually when a page is out you at least know when the product is going to come out...you'd think they'd take down the page until it was known for sure the rn5 was coming out for real...

Newegg.com pushed the release date up today from 4/30 to 5/30. Keep it going Hyperkin, they got a Facebook full of angry preorders

Yeah what once was extreme excitment for me is quickly getting sour. The multiple delays and now some who had a chance to play it (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=528855) are saying it's not that great.

It sounds like the controller that comes with it is crap. I would prefer to use the system specific controller for each game/console, but I would rather have the ability to sit back on my couch and play games on my 55' LED. I won't be able to do that with corded controllers.

Seriously considering cancelling my pre-order now.

Thanks to the link to the NeoGAF thread. Post #622 indicates that the Hyperkin rep that was in that YouTube video I linked to upthread resigned?

The plot thickens...

So am I too optimistic if I think this may come out in May?

Ah, but even more news!

Another YouTube video from PAX East has a Hyperkin rep that claims the system will be out "in the next few months" (at 5:45)

This Retron 5 thread on The Cover Project now claims late May is a "soft" release in which a limited supply will be released and they're looking for a official release shortly thereafter.

Thats funny, someone being sarcastic thought someone didn't realize they were being sarcastic, when in truth they are the ones who missed the sarcasm.
