It looks like they are on their way to the US, finally, from all the news I've been following. Great news about the Sega cards too, because I'm sure a PBC would be in my future, that adds a whole other console's functionality right there, not to mention all the possible games one could get for the SG-1000 from Japan!
News about price increase of roughly $30 to $40 is confirmed by Hyperkin in
another interview from the MGC (starting at 34:50), due to components price rising and all the new improvements they made.
I've seen people who made previous pre-orders on their Facebook get their prices locked in. I honestly don't think pre-orders will be affected. Knowing Amazon and their service, you should be OK.
