There's still buttloads of Doom servers out there, I'm looking at Doomseeker right now and there's a few that are close to full.

If you want the DLC you either buy new or buy it off the digital store. Seems a middle fair ground, instead of that XboxOne suggestion of locking a game to a specific console/s. I just hope this does not get to the point where the code unlocks 30% of the game.

And yes, I know this has been done for years now but I just got a ps3.

@Ack

Why is your 2010 laptop is incapable of doing much ? My 2008 macbook still feels like new ( I did upgrade the RAM and HDD though). The only thing it can not do is games, and that it could not do from day one... :oops:
Oddly I have found 9 out of 10 times I get a good code that was never used. It cracks me up that nobody uses them!
Same with Club Nintendo codes, I've never bought a used game with a used Club Nintendo code.
Same here. I buy from ebgames or Microplay, and I only buy if I see the CN paper inside. I've bought dozens of DS/3DS/Wii/Wii U games and the code has always been unused.

Ok so I'm seriously starting to consider buying (preordering) the next Oculus Rift headset. Has anyone here owned one before? Anything I should know, any reason I should think twice?

No, it's just a peripheral. It's up to modding communities and publishers to provide support for it.

I just think it'd be really cool to wander through Diablo maps without enemies (or maybe with enemies that just ignore you/phase through you) and maybe amplify or mix-up the atmosphere a bit.

There's so much I don't know about D2 mods but apparently people have done some mind-bending stuff - would love to know more about that!

Where's the fun in that? If you want a similar experience, play through normal with a level +80 character. I put countless thousand hours into D2 and I can tell that without enemies, you're just walking (or teleporting) through empty, tedious maps.
