Nights is a weird game. I got no idea what I'm doing. I played it for 15 minutes and put it away

For those 15 minutes though, it had awesome music.

I've been watching some youtube videos of NIGHTS to get somewhat of a feel for it. Typically its not my kind of game, but I'm pretty much burnt out on the current gaming franchises and trends that I'm willing to give it a shot. If nothing else its one of the systems signature titles, so its probably worth having in the collection.

You have to think of Nights the same way you would a racing game, with a few collection goals as well. Nights is about finding out how to make the best time around the course while making sure you get as many globes and as high a score as possible. If you are comfortable racing around a track, finding optimal lines, Nights shouldn't be too hard to get the hang of.

There is a demo. It was packed in with a lot (if not all) of the model 2 units.

My saturn just arrived with barely a scratch on it, along with the action reply. Damn, this is one sexy looking system. Its been so long since I last seen and held one, this thing 'looks' heavy but is amazingly light. The controller is smaller than I remember, but I'm gonna be pulling some sweet shorukens and combos once xmen vs SF arrives. Can't wait!

Was with some friends, and someone who I hadn't seen in several months mentioned he played Nights on Steam. Said he absolutely loved it.

Thanks, really looking forward to it. I forgot to mention, a few years ago I bought a bundle of snes/ genesis games from a private seller, had some really good stuff like boxed CIB chrono trigger, CIB super castlevania, super metroid, and a few other really good games. The guy also, for whatever reason, threw in a saturn multitap( which I understand is quite pricey nowadays) and a bunch of saturn cases all with pristine covers/ instruction booklets. Im talking Magic Night rayearth, shining wisdom, street fighter collection, Saturn bomberman and others. Those games are quite pricey nowadays but since I have the proper covers I only need to track down the loose discs.

Congrats on starting the Saturn collection.

It really kills me to see the prices people are paying to import common, dollar-bin games, though.
