Oh yea-Fighting Force. I paid .96 cents.

I remember playing the demo of that game when I was 12. It was packed in with my PS1. Not the greatest game, but it is still fun to play for a bit.

I just traded some garbage games (sports mostly) that I was about to throw away to the game store and got $25 store credit so I bought Raycrsis and Raystorm with it. I'm gathering up some more junk to take there in a few days.

I'm going to put a modchip in it tonight and it will good to go.
The disc reader is not that good compared to later models. Probably not the ideal unit for CDRs if that is your plan with a Mod Chip. I have that console too and besides the direct RCA output jacks (which is also in the PS1/PS2 cable), found no difference in sound quality.
I know about the issue, though from what I can tell so far it's just the FMV scenes that lag a bit. But I've had several requests for this model and I say the same thing about the laser. I have a huge pile of Playstations but this is the only 1001 I've ran into yet.

I've been hitting up Gamestops for PSP games since last summer. Here are a few of the braggable things I've found. All of these are complete, a couple missing manuals. Crappy cases replaced with brand new $0.50 UMD video cases (Frys FTW):

$13-17:
Half Minute Hero
Crimson Gem Saga
Phantasy Star Portable 2
Kingdom Hearts: BBS
FFT: WOTL
Tactics Ogre: LUCT
Ys I & II Chronicles
Hexyz Force

Under $10:
Monster Hunter Freedom 1/2/Unite/2+Unite Dual Pack
The Silent Hill Experience
Dissida FF/012
The Third Birthday x3
Prinny 1/2
Final Fantasy I/II
FFIV
Crisis Core
Star Ocean 1/2
Megaman Powered Up/Maverick Hunter X
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
Ys Seven/Oath in Felghana
Jeanne D'Arc
Class of Heroes
Lunar SSH

Under $5:
Z.H.P
Disgaea: AOD

$3 and under:
Ghost in the Shell: SAC
Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time

Also I recently got a mint condition Sega Saturn arcade stick at a flea market for $12. It was about the only thing in the entire place that wasn't trashed and/or overpriced.

In the NES lot there is Punchout, Contra, Mario 1-3 etc so a few games would have made it worth it. I was extremely upset about it and yelled out to my girlfriend who was picking through the box that "HE ALREADY PICKED THROUGH EVERYTHING!" and the guy scurried away into the darkness. :?

And I'd bet money that DB is headed off to Ebay to sell his "goods." I'd like to think otherwise, and you just got beat to the punch by another collector..... but I think we all know what is really going to happen to those games. Bummer deal man, that would have been a good haul for you.

Great start. I also bought SOTN as my first PS1 game. Granted I was playing it on Bleem and then got a PS2 a bit later. Was quite some time before I had an actual PS1.

Got this for $30 on ebay, the guy also threw in madden 06 and juiced 2. If anyone wants the madden and espn you're welcome to it when I get it in a week or so XD

For having all the cables, 5 games, memory cards, gameshark, and controllers it seemed like a decent deal. He's going to adjust the shipping for me so it's a lot less I don't want it expedited....

So, does the JP SOTN contain the missing stuff from the Saturn? Or is it just that the PS1 version is just missing it regardless of region?
