again... Cannon Spike is Cammy's move in the game. The US version was released in Nov 2000. Japan was a month later. So the Japanese version has the changed (and actually nonsensical) name.

This is why I love this place, you learn something new every day. I didn't even realize that the Japanese release came after the US one.

Yes, but the original name for Cammy's move in SSF ll was Cannon Drill in the US version.

Cannon Drill and Spike are 2 entirely different moves in her repertorie.

Fair enough. I still think Gunspike rolls off the tongue better. They should have gotten it right in the first place then. :wink:
