No kidding. I second this advice. Paint. Finis.mjmjr25 wrote:You lost me. I know of no world where wallpapering is faster than painting...particularly if you haven't done it before.
I do love the look of wainscoating and a chair rail, but since yr selling, just prime / paint, be done.

Why not just decorate the walls?

Because that's not how selling a house works.REPO Man wrote:Why not just decorate the walls?

So I never knew what hemorrhoids were exactly. I've known that they're a problem concerning your butt hole, and that you don't want them. I've heard people say things like "I got hemorrhoids" or "This causes hemorrhoids" but that's actually misleading. Every one has hemorrhoids. It's when you have a problem with them (pathological) that people say "I've got hemorrhoids." From what I understand, it's kinda like a hernia only with your hemorrhoids.
Ticked: I've got hemorrhoids. And by that I mean, what people generally mean when they say that. It seems like an obvious embarrassing condition, but after learning more about it, I'm not really embarrassed. It just sucks, is all.
I've always heard that having a rough bowel movement causes hemorrhoid problems. Either constipation or diarrhea. For that, I have always tried to poo good. I never knew exactly what hemorrhoids were, but I knew for sure I didn't want them. What I didn't know, what I bet most people don't know, is that strenuous activities can cause it too. This is how I got them. I was literally just walking around when I noticed the problem, not sitting on a toilet as you'd expect. It was after a few days filled with heavy lifting and whatnot. So, you think you're safe from "getting hemorrhoids" because you always poo good? Well, think again. Apparently I have a vitamin C deficiency, and being a smoker doesn't help, so all it took was a few days of working hard. Apparently half of all people will get hemorrhoids problems at least once at some point in their life. Isn't it awesome how many different ways the human body can get messed up?
edit: Oh yeah, I'm not gonna pass this up... It's a pain in the ass! Literally, not figuratively.

Hey you and me both! They can be stress related as well and I had a case that was incredibly painful. Close your eyes as you read this, as it gets gruesome. I had an internal prolapsed one, meaning that it was so inflamed that it was poking out, that caused the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced in my life. Not to mention that the pain became so unbearable that it burst and there was a lot of blood. If it makes you feel better, it seemed to have been a one time thing for me and I came out being okay. Haven't had any recurring experience in over 5 years so yay for that!Ziggy587 wrote:So I never knew what hemorrhoids were exactly. Apparently having a hemorrhoidectemy is as painful as childbirth.Ziggy587 wrote: edit: Oh yeah, I'm not gonna pass this up... It's a pain in the ass! Literally, not figuratively.

It sucks and I am resistant to local anesthetic. Was supposed to get a morphine shot, but received after the procedure, as the Dr was in a hurry. Lasted about 2-3 minutes but felt like 30. I was drenched in sweat afterwards and was screaming at him to stop the whole time.Luke wrote:Apparently having a hemorrhoidectemy is as painful as childbirth.Ziggy587 wrote: edit: Oh yeah, I'm not gonna pass this up... I can relate to that. A few years back I had a pilonidal cyst. A pre-op office procedure, a post-op removal of the sutures, and another post-op office procedure were the most pain I've ever been in, with the third being the clear winner. I was in so much pain I felt like I could throw up.Jmustang1968 wrote:It sucks and I am resistant to local anesthetic. So after having the pilonidal cyst, now having a hemorrhoid problem I'm thinking, "God, please no, not another butt problem!"
