Speaking of, try playing any game, on any console with only your thumbs.
..and there you go.

Frown: My Mother said my Luigi quilt will not be done for another few months.
Smile: ^^^
Moms is a Master when it comes to stitching, quilting, sewing, cross-stitching, etc. She is a phenom when it comes to the stitched arts, and Mom has already labeled this as a "masterpiece". In her own words, "Lukey, if you ever sell this you better ask for at least five thousand dollars". I do not doubt her.
Can't wait to share pics of the final product.

That would probably hold a controller pretty still on a table or your lap so you could use just thumbs.

^ Yeah. In fact, while mentioned already, we're leaving Friday morning and we gotta get everything square away until then. Until we get back on our feet we'll be staying with my uncle and his girlfriend. I had the option to stay with my paternal grandmother but I chose to stick with my mom and them since I'm gonna try to get my old job at Orange Blossom back and that's just down the street from where we'll be staying.
Once I get back on my feet and get to earning paychecks again, I'm gonna:
* Pay off that bill to CenturyLink
* Get a new computer bag
* Buy a tablet and a cell phone
* Start saving up to move to NYC

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Good luck Reeree.
Frown: Stuck at the house all day due to an inspection of my a/c & heating units. It's bull. This should have been done the same day of installation, not months later when I have to take a day off of work. And they show up "sometime", not kidding. The lady I spoke with said "Most people leave a key for them", well I'm not most people and hell if I'm having who knows who up in my house.
Frown: Nicked a door last night that will require a dab of white wood putty. Seems like the stuff only comes in mass amounts though. To say I need a smidgen would be over exaggerating.
Frown: My pup has been wetting her bed at night,
Smile: Practiced some behavioral therapy on her and she's stopped peeing in the night. I do have to take her out at 3/4am, but it's worth it to not have stink dog piss in our bedroom.
Smile: Tomorrow is my 5th year anniversary. Going to take the wife on an Art Walk, followed by the first meal I cooked for her, Swedish Meatballs, and then a champagne toast.
Also decorating a ceramic mug for the occasion. It will be a bit tongue in cheek as she can add onto the mug each year for each year together, like someone who is stuck in prison would do.
Plus I'm having coffee with an affluent CEO tomorrow morning who is looking to revamp her entire business model and I'm a front runner to be her consultant. Might turn into something beautiful. And it doesn't hurt that she's in her mid-sixties, a perfect age for me to ham up my charm.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Smile: This morning is my final interview for the tech company I've been pursuing a job with for quite awhile now. A lot of the people I was competing with have dropped out and I'm feeling pretty confident. Also, nervous as hell but mostly I'm just happy to have this all over with, one way or the other.
Smile: Giving Megaman Battle Network a real try for the first time. It's not bad. I still maintain that it should not have the Megaman moniker but taken on its own, it's a clever title.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Roll with that. The person who acts like they already have the job usually gets it.Flake wrote: I'm feeling pretty confident.
