I've been up against a firing squad before, but you could feel the tension in the room.
Well, yeah, I can understand a firing squad of a bunch of interviewers with a single interviewee having to defend his resume. It's the pitting the candidates so directly against each other that seems so weird to me.
Maybe round two is a cage match with the applicant's family in timed peril to provide impetus to get the fighting done.

Keeping your composure in a hostile and competitive environment is what sales is all about. I agree it was odd, but I also think it is an effective way to hold an interview for a sales position.

Is it overseen by Tina Turner?

I agree that it is probably a very effective way to interview a sales person, but I am not sure that I would want to work for an organization that interviewed candidates in that matter. It would be a little to Glengarry Glen Ross for my tastes...

Ugh, we're having to do updates to old information today, which means I've spent all day doing data entry.

So my Sister can't return an email concerning my nephews christening, but can write ten posts on facebook complaining about how she can't find a nanny, how hard being a Mother is (SHE HAS HAD A FULL TIME, LIVE IN NANNY SINCE HER KIDS' BIRTHS), how hard it is to get her kids to eat gluten free, and post after post of those terrible buzzfeed and hufpo "articles" about "You know you are a Mother when...".

Forget her and her walking human hymen of a husband.

Bitter? A bit. But I should know better by now.

As far as those mindless lists on the Internet of people complaining how miserable their lives are, I have complied my own. I hope you enjoy.

*ahem*

List Of Things You Can't Do When You Have One Hand
written by Luke

1) Work as a chef at Benihana's without people being very confused.

2) Give the middle finger with both hands at once.

3) Do either the "This is the church, here is the steeple..." or the "Watch, I can magically remove my thumb" gestures without making children scream.

...and that's about all I can think of.
