Thanks man that thought has gone through my head. Trust me there are going to be some changes in his lifestyle he doesnt have to retire he just cant pull this 14 hour day shit.

Just talked with the surgeon he is awake still a bit groggy from anesthesia as is expected, but he said he has regained strength in his right side. But its a bit early to tell for sure. Obviously he is going to stay at the hospital for a couple days for observation.

Holy crap what a day...

Thanks everyone dad is doing great he is expected to make a full recovery, he has full motor function returned to his right side hell he almost crushed my hand trying to prove it to me. Today has been the most chaotic day of my life both the worst and best day of my life. I have one more favor to ask of you all. If any of you have someone in your life that you should probably say "I love you" to more often, please call them up and tell them tonight. Whether it be your mom or day, grandparents, brother or sister. Never take anyone for granted and never let it just be unsaid.

Dad is doing great! This morning he took his first steps and the doctor thinks he wont even need physical therapy. And dads taking it pretty well that he will be out of work for 5 weeks. Tommorow they will take the drainage tube out of his head
