I'm sure most people that have good intention to make something either won't start or won't get much done and have nothing to turn in either. They probably expect a low percentage to actually turn anything in.

I don't think they care if people get free copies of Thief or not. Worst case scenario is, no one enters anything for the contest, but they just got a bunch of people to play and talk about Thief and there's a sequel coming out. In addition to that, they can use those Amazon reimbursements as "sales" for the series which gives some usable metric of recent interest.

Thats what I figured. I dont think they actually care about the competition in particular, it's all just promotional.

Decided to load some roms to the PSP and got some genesis games in there.

Shinobi 2 is good, is fun... but shinobi 3... holy backfliping red ninjas! that game is REALLY good!

I have a habit of buying every Final Fantasy game I can find (I even imported the WonderSwan Color versions of the first two games) but I think I've reached my limit as far as the "numbered" entries go.

I bought XIII and XIV and they were underwhelming to say the least. I viewed a trailer of XV the other night and it simply looks horrendous. I also don't plan to own either console it's released for.

I'm not too broken up about it though, and I hope to see the trend of FF spin-offs being superior to the main games to continue.
