I didn't understand Darko either, I hate movies that is supposed to make you think and wonder and try to over analyse it, I like to watch a movie that is just pure entertainment like The Matrix.

Was that sarcasm? Because while the Matrix is certainly entertaining and visually amazing, it's one of my all time favorites because of the fact that it also makes me think, wonder, and over analyze it

With the Matrix you CAN overanalyze it, but you can also sit back and enjoy the ride.

I guess these types of movies are the best of both worlds, where there is content and entertainment. Also The Matrix has no hidden meanings, it explains to you everything. Darko on the other hand you get all these questions about Who and Why, and What do you think this means...

Actually, The Matrix is notable for how much further one can read into it if they so desire. It is a series of films that wraps itself in philosophical and religious concepts of varying depths.

Been a while since I caught a full movie. Last movie I watched was Independence Day, from almost the beginning. Still a great movie, IMO anyway.

I honestly do not know anything of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but I am ready for it. It looks like it is irreverent and I think it iwll just be a lot of fun. We will see!
