Re: Xbox One
So I've now pre-ordered Titanfall. It's pretty frickin' fun.

Would you classify it as a system seller? Or just pretty good?
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Having spent some more time with it now, I'd say it could be a system seller. It's some of the most fun, fluid, and chaotic (in a good way) multiplayer I've ever spent time with.
Re: Xbox One
well, just two keys and played last night and today. Quite honestly, I'm impressed. You can't play it the same way as COD, and that is a plus on its own merit. Went 22-0 on a attrition match this morning, can't wait to play the end product.

Re: Xbox One
Ignore if old Titanfall beta will be open to all Xbox 1 owners per major nelson's blog. Soon, hopefully tomorrow as the beta is open till the 18th. Sharing is caring.

Re: Xbox One
Any one know what is Microsoft's strategy to gain market share with the XboxOne? The kinect is not picking-up (or is it?) , and I do not see many game exclusives to push console sales in the pipe-line . I think stuff like Titanfall is good but I feel like its going to be like GoldenEye on the N64, its great but not enough to push sales of the console
Re: Xbox One
They're largely going by brandname recognition and digital entertainment services at this point.

After playing the beta I can say I will be buying it for sure, however it is on the PC and will be picking it up on that, so not a system seller for me.

This is a huge risk, no other console tried to sell consoles based on digital entertainment services, it was always a thing on the side as an extra feature (unless its true that people bought PS2's to watch DVDs, which is confusing because I think you could've bought a DVD player for less than $300 in 2000)
@emwearz
Maybe out of topic, but what kind of spec. needed for a PC to run a game like Titanfall smooth?
