What was the last movie you've seen?

Reboots have to do with story, just as they do in movies. Mario or Zelda aren't reboots, in Mario there is nothing to say that isn't the same character from game to game, in Zelda, they purport that each game is a different Link. Tomb Raider is an excellent example of a rebooted franchise or Prince of Persia: Sands of Time or Prince of Persia (2008).

Stark, I read your post about the Rebootcop. Didn't the last half hour feel like "Um. Shouldn't we have a bad guy?".

I know I know....it's Wikipedia, but there are a lot of sources to help define a reboot in film and video games within the entry.

I've not seen the new Robocop yet, but I saw the reboot of Total Recall if you'd like to discuss that.

Temple Grandin
I remember seeing a live news story years ago what I thought at the time an eccentric and witty lady. This is a true to life story of a girl with autism. Thanks to the right mentors, she overcomes many obstacles thru life in not only the autism but also in traditionally a mans world back in the day of cattle ranching. As a Masters College Professor and still having autism, her humane techniques in treating beef cattle also saved costs in the industry; now used in half of the cattle slaughter houses.

The movie is very impressive, shown from the point of view of one with autism. The details and consistent analyzing of the world shows the genius hidden behind the voice lisp.

Of course they're gonna get slaughtered. You think we'd have cattle if people didn't eat 'em everyday? They'd just be funny-lookin' animals in zoos. But we raise them for us. That means we owe them some respect. Nature is cruel, but we don't have to be. I wouldn't want to have my guts ripped out by a lion, I'd much rather die in a slaughterhouse if it was done right.

EARTH

A Disneyverse view of wildlife that is jaw dropping from start to finish. Highly recommended for home theater geeks.
