Have you all sought public assistance for housing, unemployment, etc.?REPO Man wrote:That actually kinda sounds like what we have, though our "kitchenette" is basically just fridge and microwave, along with a sink (that doubles as the bathroom sink) and a cupboard.
But it's also a matter of money, since my brother's still unemployed (his lost his job at Buffalo Wild Wings a few weeks ago and hasn't found anything since) and I just started getting hours at work. So basically our financial situation (which also includes our storage unit and payments on the van, but not the cell phone bills which can't be payed off yet) limits our options.
I'm just praying things work out, since it was really just sheer dumb luck that got us this far.

Smile: Snow Day. Perfect weather too for watching THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK with my wife, who has braved episodes IV and VI so far. Watched IV yesterday, and my wife commented on how beautiful Carrie Fischer looked. I had to agree.
Since it's still snowing, we're thinking about taking a walk to a local grocery store, picking up some beverages, and kicking back all day long. And although it might sound lame to some, the lady and I also plan on baking those chocolate chip cookies that have M&M's in them instead of chocolate chips. Rarely do I have a sweet tooth, but I love those cookies.

Gasping for air due to heavy laughter: Watching kids try to play a game of basketball in the snow is quite hilarious. They're obviously not the fastest of learners as they refuse to give up trying to dribble the ball in the snow/ice.

Smile: Got a massive AES lot, including a legit MS2. They had it listed at $1,200, walked in offered this kid $600 / cash. He laughs, "No way. I'd lose my job."
I say, alright, call yr boss and tell him you just turned down $600 cash money on a lot that's been sitting here for months.
He says, "...phfff, hold on." (calls boss) Kid says, if you can do $800 cash, he says you can have it.
Calmly forked over $800. Dang, Gotta be worth at least $2,500!

I went on a diecast car buying binge last week. A few arrived yesterday. One was the wrong car. Still a vintage red wedge shaped car from the same manufacturer in package, but the wrong one. One I already have. So I opened a case for wrong item.
A few more arrived today. Different seller. Got a wrong loose silver sporty shaped car. One I looked at, but didn't bid on. Opened a case that looks exactly like the one from yesterday.
Ebay is going to think I'm running a scam or something if an actual person looks at my account on their end.

You guys wouldn't believe what I saw in my backyard today:

I have some lady fingers, so I may add pyrotechnics.

And can you comment on the smell, as compared to the outside of the creature?Blu wrote:I'm just waiting for you curled up inside of a Tauntaun, Luke.
