I'm not 100% on what exactly happened with ElMagico, but I do know he won't be back.

I really can't understand how some people manage to stay so happy all the damn time though. I'm jealous, really. I see some people who just always seem to be having the time of their life, and I just don't get it. Of course, having my friends laugh and go on while I'm puking and feeling like shit didn't help my overall view on this yesterday, but its never something I've understood.

That's too bad; like him or not, he was a part of the forum, and one of the more prolific European posters.

It's all about your attitude. I'm working 9 days straight right now and I'm not particularly upset about it, but I can also remember being quite discontent while on summer vacation.

That's a naive and possibly dangerous thing to say if Forlorn has depression. Speaking of which, Forlorn, have you talked to doctors about this?

We bring it up every so often that he needs to speak to a professional, and so far he hasn't heeded the advice.

It's an exclusive club (see: Davos). People have devised or perverted ideologies since the dawn of time to form exclusive clubs with extreme privileges. Hey, at least they were running for their lives at one point or another in history.

If something was really wrong with me, I would have gone over the edge by now.

Just because you haven't gone over the edge yet doesn't mean that's not the direction you're traveling in.

Hate to say it, but ^THIS.

Back off topic:

Need to change my user settings one of these days as it seems like I am always logged in.

About twenty or thirty minutes ago, give or take, I met up with my buddy Pringles just to say hi before he sets out for Houston (flight leaves at 4am, he needs to wake up by at least 1:30am). While we were saying our see-ya-laters two little rascals (I'm horrible at guessing age but I would guess the two were around six to ten years old) were riding their bikes, about twenty feet apart from each other.

The older kid screamed "Yo man, up high, up high!" and raised his left hand, to which I gladly hive fived. Then the younger kid behind him shouted, "Yo Yo! Down Low!" placed his hand near the street to which I slapped him some skin.

Best part of my day, and the sequence of events were completely random and occurred within seconds. Two kids, a high five and a low five, while they were on their bikes, and that was it. Kids rule. Just seeing them pleased as punch riding around the street aimlessly on their bikes put the biggest grin on my face. Not a care in the world did they seem to have.
