Honestly, I don't know if putting food outside is a good idea. You're likely to attract things you don't want.oxymoron wrote:EDIT:
@Luke
I placed a big bowl of food for 'em outside last night. I looked in the morning and it was untouched.

Don't give up for at least a week. I used to have a cat that would run away every few weeks for days at a time, only to return like nothing had happened.oxymoron wrote:- My cat ran away. I checked the local shelters, veterinary clinics, and asked my neighbors but no luck. The weird thing is that no one let him out. I'm going to put fliers tomorrow. Wish me luck.
Heck, I had one cat that ran away for like 3 months before she came back.

Speaking of ebay, I got sniped on Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV on 32X.
That game only pops up once every almost never. Damn it all.

The last time I saw a copy on ebay, 4 or 5 months ago I believe, it was a BIN at something like $350. Definitely out of my price range.
The one I lost last night sold at $112. I should have set my bid higher, but there was no other activity at all and I foolishly thought I'd squeak by. Oh well.
Uh oh, I just thought, are you the guy who beat me on this one? That would be kinda cool actually.

I have had exactly this happen with my kitchen sink. Cats love to find tiny dark hiding places. Once I accidentally captured my cat in a closet for two days. The most likely scenario seems to be a hiding cat.MrPopo wrote:I had something similar happen, only without the open door. I couldn't find my cat anywhere. Eventually after going over the house for the third time I heard a little meow, and it turned out she had snuck in to the cabinet under my bathroom sink while I was grooming, I didn't notice, and shut the door on her.Ziggy587 wrote:How long has the cat been missing? If it hasn't been that long, maybe he's hiding in the house some where. I know it sounds stupid, but I've had this happen to me before. Some one left the back door open for a while and I couldn't find one of the cats. I assumed he got out. I looked in every room several times, every where I could possibly look. I was 100% sure the cat got out. Then a few hours later, the cat showed up inside the house. He was just in a VERY good hiding spot.oxymoron wrote:- My cat ran away. But anyway man, that sucks. Hope you find him.
If anything, this simply supports the hiding cat theory. Place your bait inside the house, because your cat may not be outside at all.Ziggy587 wrote:Honestly, I don't know if putting food outside is a good idea. You're likely to attract things you don't want.oxymoron wrote:EDIT:
