:) - Went to the volunteer orientation at the animal shelter. I'm really happy that I'll be able to make a difference in the animals lives, even if it's small. I think I'm going to keep volunteering even after my community service hours are completed.

:D Already got next week's work schej worked out. Picked up shifts for every day except for Sunday (which is right after 3 straight work days and not 5 like has been the norm for the past few weeks) and Thursday (which is right after another 3 work days AND it's the first pay day in weeks that I've been off).

:( Sadly it's still a few hours less than what I have this week.

 My sleep schedule's outta whack.

 Thank God I'm a night owl anyway!

 But the rest of the world isn't so it kinda makes it hard.

:( Weather's chilly (thought the cold weather passed, but then it came back) and now I'm kinda dealing with the whole runny-nose BS.

:D Found the full-length version of the Class of Nuke 'Em High theme song, which I've been unable to find for a while now.

Yes sir. That's my better half.

What's kind of disturbing is that when I shared the photo on FB, she was automatically tagged. I didn't include her name, but FB did. Creepy stuff. We both, for the umpteenth time, changed our privacy settings, but the page still has facial recognition. It's a not so friendly but good reminder that what you do on the Internet is recorded. Forever.

Smile/Frown: My Father in law is going to the Mayo clinic as his cancer is coming back, and it's pissed. Why the smile you ask? Because he's been taking care of himself and has been keeping tabs on his health. Early detection is key. That, and he's going to what has been called the best hospital on planet Earth.

My Grandfather went to the Mayo clinic for a valve replacement, and treated him like a King. The people who work there are pretty amazing. While I was visiting my Grandfather I witnessed three nurses chatting it up and pooling together a good chunk of cash; I couldn't help but eavesdrop.

It turned out that the cash that was exchanged was to buy a young boy with cancer a Gameboy (DS to be specific). That's love.

How do you feel about that ford focus, Luke? I'm thinking about making the focus my next car. I like to drive little cars, but I'm six feet tall, so some cars are too little for me.

I'm over 6', my Father is 6'5", and we both love driving the Focus. It's an S2 model, but as long as you can lower the seat you'll fit.

The Focus seems to provide nearly double the headroom of a Miata. I like Miatas, but I look silly in them and feel cramped.

Whew, finally got the TV upstairs that I bought from 8bit yesterday. I picked up a 36" sony vega from him and the beast weighs 250 lbs. Carrying it around isnt too tough, but the upstairs portion was the difficulty. My arms will feel it tomorrow.

:( It was cancelled and only has 18 episodes.
Better have it finish soon instead of turning into a walking corpse like dozens of other shows, right? :D

I had a similarly-sized TV I had to get up the stairs once. I tripped and the television went right through the drywall.

The Sharp TV that you see in my games beaten posts is also as heavy as a baby elephant. I had to call two of my buddies to help haul it up two flights of stairs.

Yeah, it was beastly. Luckily we didnt have any incidents, that sucks Bone.

I used to deliver these brand new in the early 2000s when I worked for a delivery company, so I knew the pain.

We couldnt do it Saturday night. After helping me move a lot of furniture in my house, picking up the tv, and no food all day, Hobie wasnt confident in tackling the stairs.

We tried a different tactic last night in how we carried it and my brother in law and another friend bustled it up the stairs.

Games do look bad ass on it though, so it was worth it.
