What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Let's go back to the question of having a sentient intelligence in what you would traditionally consider to be an inanimate object. If there's an artificial intelligence in a mobile body, why is it so weird to fall in love with that? What makes you real and the robot not?

It's not self-aware. At least to our knowledge it isn't.

Well, the Batman Superman movie has been pushed back close to a year. Good news for Marvel studios, and Ant-Man, bad news for DC fans.

One of those movies where you wish they would just kill each other already :P.

May be semi spoilers
The roles of who is the hunter and who is the hunted is swapped about a dozen times before the movie is over with each character having the opportunity to kill the other about 10+ times, but they never go through with it. It's like the poster child for why only morons take people they intend to kill as prisoners.

Heath Ledger definitely channeled his inner Jack (The Departed) for the interrogation scenes in Dark Knight.

Elysium

Well-made and some cool looking stuff in it. But the story was a little boring.

Much better than the first one. Much more violent. Christopher Mintz-Plasse's character was much more of a douchebag. And much more of a psycho. And much more of a sociopath.

Now... when's Kick-Ass 3?
I really liked it too. Specially that scene with the cop cars. It was hilarious :D
I just watched it this week. Some of the novelty of the first one is gone. Partly because it's a sequel and partly because I've seen the similar movie Super. I still enjoyed it though. I had to roll my eyes at the harsh review scores as it's pretty much the same formula as the first movie, which got stronger reviews. Like I said, novelty. They loved this formula when it was new, now they shit all over it cause they don't think it's cool anymore

Fickle people critics are.
