The "your turn" comment is the scariest part of that. What is she going to do him that involves shrinking down?

Read some of the later issues of Bondage Fairies. It'll make sense.BurningDoom wrote:The "your turn" comment is the scariest part of that. What is she going to do him that involves shrinking down?

First movie of 2014:

Much better than the first one. Much more violent. Christopher Mintz-Plasse's character was much more of a douchebag. And much more of a psycho. And much more of a sociopath.
Now... when's Kick-Ass 3?

HER
Again. Just as delightful as my first screening. Definitely one of the best movies of 2013, and one of Spike's best movies.
Kind of crazy how some of the best love stories on screen are also the strangest.
In other news, here's a great article with Marty's editor, Thelma Schoonmaker:

She states that WOLF isn't GOODFELLAS, but I disagree. The arcs are verbatim.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Last night, my wife wanted to watch:

Them (2006). I gladly obliged her and ended up watching a fantastic horror film. At a lean 76 minutes, Them - which tells the story of a French couple terrorized by a group of hooded strangers - wastes absolutely no time getting to the scares, and other than a very brief set-up following a fantastic opening, the film never lets up until its horrifying conclusion. I loved it; I highly recommend it to horror fans; and I really, really wish I had watched it during our "month of horror" this October.
(I watched Them on Hulu+, but if I recall correctly it is also available for streaming on Netflix.)

You know, I had really hoped that after high school I would never hear the name Bondage Fairies ever again. Thank you for ruining things, Popo.MrPopo wrote:Read some of the later issues of Bondage Fairies. It'll make sense.BurningDoom wrote:The "your turn" comment is the scariest part of that. I really liked it too. Specially that scene with the cop cars. It was hilariousREPO Man wrote:First movie of 2014:

And:

I watched this film so many times in middle school and 12 years later I still remember most of the lines.
As always, interesting film, I love the anachronisms, and I'm curious how close to the film's universe will the world evolve into once we've mastered genetic engineering.

The first trailer I saw for this movie made it appear that Scarlett Johansson's character was a person, and I thought it seemed like a really interesting movie. Then a week or so later, I saw the trailers that showed her to be a computer, and the premise quickly went from being one of my favorite ideas for a film to one of the most stupid. I wouldn't be able to take it seriously, no matter how convincing Phoenix's performance might be.Luke wrote:HER

Also, titling fail: Should be, SHE.

Judging anything without experiencing it is a huge sign of making a dumb decision. Whether you take offense to that or not I don't care, but saying something is "the most stupid" without even having watching it is dumb. Dumb.pierrot wrote:The first trailer I saw for this movie made it appear that Scarlett Johansson's character was a person, and I thought it seemed like a really interesting movie. No "titling fail" whatsoever. "SHE"? Is there a cat in the room?
