lol yup.

Went in insanely unprepared. Got owned twice. Ended up shutting off the game instead of saving/quitting, as I had lost all of my healing items, money, and weapon after two run-ins with the raft boss. About an hour and a half of gameplay time down the tubes.

I played a few hours last night, but did nothing except grind. My gun is up to a +4 and my resta (I think that's what it's called) is +3. I am now level 21, and have a full stock of Dimates. Will attempt the boss again tonight.

glad to hear you're not quitting for good. That boss is brutal though. To me he's like the first really sharp spike in difficulty. And yeah, he becomes a really good reason to spend time grinding. Last night I just did a dungeon crawl w/ GG and Fragems to grind, and "we" beat that boss. But really it was GG beating him and me healing myself haha. SO I until I can grind myself up to feeling confident I can take him in the actual "storymode" Quest, I'm still stuck at the same part as you really. And it's no question that making the long-ass trek through the Caves only to be destroyed by him makes you feel like you've wasted your night.

Just hit LVL18, got myself a Handgun +10, Rifle +3, Saber +4 and my new favorite toy - the Autogun (I think +1 or 2 now...). Can't remember what level my MAG's at though. Anyway, yeah, I'm sure I'll be on tonight trying to get myself ready for the battle on the raft.

I can't wait until you guys get to Vol Opt. I expect much cursing  .

Try to find yourself a shot while you're grinding. They do a good job of taking out De Rol Le's segments all at once and it's easier to kill him that way.

Shots are also just wonderful weapons for taking on entire mobs of enemies.

Pretty productive day today - hit level 20, bought the expensive reverser (life spell) disc, upgraded the heal spell to level 5 so it'll heal allies at a distance, upgraded the best fire spell to stage 3, bought some better defence armour with a slot and equipped an item to it to raise defence by 19 (which is about 25% more defence for my character!) and evolved my MAG at level 35. I feel ready for the caves boss. Roll on the weekend.

Up to level 25. MAG is 65. Got a spread shot that cleans everything up quickly.

The Caves are a cakewalk now and the Mines are of moderate difficulty for me. I still get whipped in the Ruins.

This weekend is probably going to be my biggest PSO weekend for the TR month so bump into me sometime guys and I'll help you mow down some areas and bosses.
