It appears the collectors edition has "not for resale" on the case. I hate that for whatever reason.

All signs point to me not getting the game but, out of curiosity's sake, is the soundtrack a full OST or is it one of those blasted, four-track "select" soundtracks?

hmm. That kind of sucks. Now I'm on the fence. I mean the box is nice and all, but it's a jump of $40 to $55 for the CE, which is even more than the $50 SMT IV was.

Special editions without a full OST are almost always a 100% pass for me. I guess I'll wait for the standard edition to hit the bargain bin if I ever want to check out the game.

A great thing about those AR cards is that you can just print them off or scan them from a tablet computer lying on a table.

so Bravely Default hits Feb, 7th. As far as I can tell, it's the first 2014 game I'll be picking up. And I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pre-order the CE so I can get that soundtrack. I was very please w/ my decision to get the SMT IV box while I still could. I wonder if the BD artbook is also a strategy guide the way the SMT one was?

Anyway, it feels exciting to have an upcoming game I'm looking forward to. 2013 was an excellent year for games - a year in which it was difficult to play everything that I wanted to. So it's really intriguing to see what else will be coming in 2014.

Bravely Default looks awesome, and seeing as how the developers of 3D Dot Game Heroes are behind this, I'm really pretty excited.

I plan on picking up the CE too, though I didn't fall in love with 3D Dot Game Heroes, so that doesn't exactly get me more excited about the game. But I still like what I've seen and heard about it

I'm now leaning towards just buying the SE. I don't think the extra $15 is worth the abridged soundtrack to me. But I do wanna play the game.
