Well, the electric cigarette I have right now isn't really doing much for me, but then again I really can't get away with the real thing any more. Too many people riding my ass about quitting. I guess that I means I have to quit, although I really don't want to. Its fun, gives me something to do when I'm bored, and, in my opinion, looks pretty sweet.

Tried the eCig thing to no avail, but I think I've figured out how to stop for good.

Made a deal with the girlfriend—if I smoke at all after the new year, she confiscates all muh vidya. Figure that ought to be incentive enough...

I thought E-Cigarettes were odorless. Isn't that supposed to be one of the appeals of it?

I can definitely confirm they are almost as annoying to be around. Take a several long hour drive with someone that uses those and yeah, it sucks.

Aside the special circumstance of being trapped in a car for several hours, they are absolutely NOT as bad to be around as cigarettes.

If someone came inside after "vaping", you would not smell it (assuming they were using E-Liquid). There is an initial smell that lasts for a few seconds, but nothing that lingers or sticks to the clothes.

Xeogred may have been miserable, but he would have smelled 100x worse had someone been hotboxing the car with cigarettes for all those hours.

Its fun less fun than twirling a pen, gives me something to do when I'm bored is less stimulating than reading or playing a game, and, in my opinion, looks pretty sweet makes me smell like shit and will gross out any non-smoker I ever manage to kiss.

I speak from experience on the latter. I once made out with a woman that was a smoker and if my taste buds hadn't been deadened by drinking earlier, I would have been grossed out and have recoiled in horror.

My opinion differs other than the the view on smell and taste when kissing, but then again I'm not close enough to any women that either of those would ever worry me. I've also been very blah about everything I've liked in the past. So, smoking gives me something to do.

What kind of E-Cig are you using?

Its an NJoy disposable, and I've been really dissapointed. It takes so much work to get a decent pull out of it, and I've either already depleted the battery or caused it to overheat in the last day, which is just depressing.

You're always complaining about not being able to get close to any females. For ones that are non smokers, this is going to be a contributing factor. So obviously it does worry you.
