My god, it went terrible.

But I don't know. Maybe there's a bigger culture barrier than I thought (her accent was a lot stronger than I originally thought). Of all times some lady pulls her cart right up next to us in the heat of the battle and the look on her dreaded face when she realized what she pulled up next to was hilarious and horrifying in so many ways.

At the same time it was just awkward in that I couldn't tell if she was nervous or freaked out, or just that diligent about getting back to work and she seemed serious about not seeing my FB message. So I sent her a little newer one just now to maybe clear up some hilarity, but it might be game over. I wasn't shitting my pants or slipping on words, but it did just kind of feel like she did not have time to stop or something. I threw out a compliment at the very end before she snuck back around the corner and she did smile and looked like she almost hesitated to stop and talk more then, but yeah.

Holy fuck balls.

Haha yeah.

I asked if she got the FB message and that was literally like all I got out. I was able to slip in that it was awesome she liked metal (that's when she stopped and looked like she was going to talk more) and that my sister kind of knew her, and that was pretty much it. So bad, the instant I revealed I wasn't really needing help finding something she had to get back to work haha.

So didn't really get to ask her out or compliment HER herself and that just feels like game over.

I dunno, I'm wondering if there's Asian stuff like with that Filipino chick I talked about awhile back that I work with. That chick at my work has crazy asthma but looks like she puts her life on the line for work and can't spare a second to break, maybe this chick is the same.

So I did briefly apologize (I was with you Luke in not doing that in person, but here yeah) in the message and then said she's cute and asked her out, but yeah. It feels weightless when I didn't get to say it in person.

I noticed when I sent the second message though it went to my inbox instead of the "other" misc inbox, maybe it went to her main one now too and she'll see it. I guess that's my only chance now.
