The Wii is practically the god of Christmas games...

Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (Wii) is an old-fashioned, very easy 2D platformer, and everyone would have loved it if it had been released on the Sega Genesis. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Wii), on the other hand, is an abysmal collection of motion-controlled mini-games that I completed by accident as I was testing my copy of the game.

Also...I am kind of astonished that no one has mentioned this game:

It was mentioned twice, one of which was in the second post.

Banjo kazooie has a nice Xmas themed level. Snowman, presents, absent fathers, the usual.

http://videogamecritic.com/vgc_xmas.htm some of these were mentioned in this thread already but this site has a decent holiday game list with reviews (the main site is pretty informative as well)

edit: Christmas game reviews (mostly on home computer systems) from phreakindee

Was Christmas Nights ever a retail game or was it handed out with magazines?

Just magazines in the UK.

I think it was through other means in the US?

Christmas NiGHTs is such a surreal 'demo'. Despite only having 1 level to play, the amount of actual unlockable content is far far greater than that in the main game of NiGHTs.
