don't let it do that.

I've got a bunch of DS cases I might be willing to part with.
how would i not "let" my printer scale it, and also i do have like 40 GBA games i could do this for lol.

i just hit the print button because all the images are scaled correctly from the website.
Just resize the images to the correct size in your case cover program. You can save on ink by printing out plain black square boxes. Resize each subsequent printout until you get the size correctly set. You can use the previous printout to guesstimate the resize until you get it tweaked correctly. Be sure to use the corrected sized cover for a template for your other coverless cases.

As for cleaning off the sticky label, look in the Guides section of the board.
He already PM'd me about this stuff, but yeah.

He's printing out stuff from TheCoverProject. Everything there is at 300dpi and already sized to the exact size they need to be, assuming your printer or program doesn't attempt to resize it itself.

Anyone know if there are numbers on video game boxes that match the carts?

Do you mean serial numbers? I've only seen them on numbered collector's sets, though often the number is only on the box and maybe a piece of paperwork inside, not on disks or carts if it is a commercial set. Indie numbered things might be a little different.

i'm not much of a CIB collector although i've been looking to get more as of late. If I come across a box or manual for a cart based game I'll take it. Manual is usually good enough for me and a box is just a bonus. In the case of having box and manual I'll even try and track down an extra copy of the game so I can keep on in box and have a loose one to play. If a particular cart I'm looking for is badly damaged I'll still buy it if the price is right and just keep an eye out for another in better condition.

Only ones I really want totally complete is the disc based games. PS1, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, etc. I print out covers from the cover project or create my own if I can't find any (won't do this for PS1 games). I'll keep an eye out if I can find one in better shape or purchase the paperwork from some of those sites or trade for them.

So i finally got around too getting some covers printed and found some empty DS cases to start putting GBA/DS games that are not CIB in them.

I have Fire Emblem on the way, got one off ebay.

Had them printed at OfficeMax, was cheaper and better quality than doing them myself.

I dont have a paper cutter, so ended up cutting them myself, im pretty happy with the job, now i just need about 60+ more empty DS cases for my GBA/GBC/GB/DS games, that's if i want all my handheld games in cases, even though pretty much every GBA game i have is CIB.

You got shelf space for all that stuff?

I wonder if this would be possible with Game Gear, Lynx, WonderSwan, or NGPC games?.......

Shelf space is negative lol, but i can dream, also this is why im hesitant to do it to every portable game i have.

Cant even display my GBA box's, they are all in the darkness inside a box, inside my closet.

I remember this topic but I never got around to posting. Guess I'll take the time to do so now.

For disk games, I am strictly CIB. Zero interest if even just the back art is missing. I want it all. Extras are not required, and I don't fuss over spine cards (I do prefer them but won't base a purchase off them). Quality needs to be pretty high for higher ticket games. As such, I am of course willing to pay the extra dollars above the base price. Case condition is the one thing that's a non-issue, I am okay with replacing them. I just want all the original contents, basically. Never going to be a printed label guy either, I place a strong emphasis on original packaging.

For cartridge games, I am much more lenient (primarily due to space). I mostly prefer cart only. I only do CIB for my top favorites, in which case the same philosophy I described above applies. I realize cardboard boxes can take a beating over the years so I don't analyze every tear and fold, but I'm not interested in stuff that is really beat up. Cart condition can override box and manual condition here, unlike CD stuff, where the condition of everything needs to be at least average.

I don't know, OCD.

Also where the hell did final fight cd go?
