For most people, it's a Tempest 2000 box. They only use it to play Tempest 2000 and nothing else.
Given that Tempest is not an exclusive I do not see that as an enough reason...but that is my own opinion

The other versions aren't as good.

I (sort of) have a long-term goal of obtaining a complete Atari hardware collection - I have my eye on an 8-bit system next. The ST will probably be the trickiest and most expensive to obtain.
Why didn't you buy mine when I had it for sale? I think I ended up shipping it to Australia.
Because I consistently have no money. Not having a job will do that.

Xbox 1.1 Console Phillips Drive Akebono S Controller DVD Remote - $29.99 Goodwill
Still like the Duke controller better, but a decent price which also includes the DVD Remote. Not that I would ever play a movie in my console that is. This is an older revision console, but it does have a decent Phillips drive inside. Bought as a backup for the 1.6 Xbox console I already own. I can now play Panzer Dragoon and Gunvalkyrie in 480p. :D

Original Xbox Guide - Which Revision Console - http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 98#p755098

Xbox Playstation Controller Adapters - $12.00 shipped Ebay
Unfortunately, the PSX Flightstick is incompatible with these. However, the Duel Shock and more importantly my PSX Blaze Twinshock Arcade stick works beautiful with these. As in other console adapters, the digital sticks are picked up as both DPad, Analog Sticks and Face Buttons in Twinstick mode expanding support for more games.

Xbox Advent Rising - $4.99 Luna Games
Xbox console only exclusive. Nice game, I really love the opening gameplay flying the ship around. The tower keeps nagging me to land, but have too much fun enjoying the space flight view. Operating the land based gun turrets is a kick blasting the ships out of the sky before the aliens drop out.

Xbox Far Cry Instincts - $6.99 Luna Games
Exclusive to Xbox console, nice tropical island themed FPS with more detail then the trees in PS2 Metal Gear.

Xbox Links 2004 - $5.00 BookOff
I had already bought this game a while back at another BookOff. It had a MS catalog which I quick glanced mistaken for the game manual. This one is complete sans the catalog so now more CIB I guess. Ah well, another exclusive to console and plays surprisingly well with the game controller, Links has a long history on the PC.

Xbox Serious Sam II - $7.99 Luna Games
Part one costs less which I already own on the PS2, this version is yet another Xbox console only exclusive. Endless droves of enemies coming at you, but in a good way. I tag this as the SHMUP of FPS games, a lot of fun mayhem without cramped arenas! :)

PC Flight Simulator X - $2.99 Thrift Store
Crisp and complete with manuals, disc and offline install serial number. Already own the 100 years of Flight anniversary edition, nice that the game does a full install without a disc or silly online verification check later on. This resides happily in the hard drive along with the fully installed Flight Sim 2004. Looking forward to see how high I can fly some of the rocket based aircraft mods hitting the stratosphere.

Advent Rising was also released on the PC. It's a great game on its own, but ends at a cliffhanger, which was supposed to be part of a planned trilogy, but got shelved after release.

A shame, the followups might have been very good. In my description I was meaning as the home console release to just the original Xbox even though also available on the PC. I noticed a lot of Xbox exclusives also have a PC release, these are the games I am mainly tracking down for the Xbox.

Picked up some more stuff at the pawns today.

Got Halo Reach Limited Edition and Seasons 1 & 2 of Bleach for $20 total no taxes.

Also snagged a copy of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 fpr $3 which was missing the bonus disc and manual but also had a copy of Budokai 3 in it. however Budokai 3 was to far gone to resurface and Tenkaichi 3 may be in the same boat it has audio bugs and load issues at the moment :P.

I used to be huge into Flight Simulators when I was younger. I saw a haul of long box MS Flight Sims at the Salvation Army for $4 each. It included MS Flight Simulator, FS98, MS Combat Flight Simulator, FS2000 Professional, and FS2004. FS2004 was long box and had the tin box inside. I think they all had manuals too.

I passed on them, sadly, since I should save money. If they're still there then maybe I'll pick them up.

Also, I was happy I only paid $13 for my Xbox. Granted, it didn't have the DVD player adapter and I haven't figured out how to soft modded it yet (I'm trying to modify a controller for USB but I don't have a working USB extension wire and I can't find a cheap one)
Systems Owned: NES, Sega Genesis (Non-TMSS), Game Boy, Game Gear, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis (Model 2), PlayStation, N64, Sega Dreamcast, GBA SP, Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo 3DS

Interesting! Let us know how it goes.
