Well, it could be coming from the toilet if they have a tendency to miss, but generally I don't smell it if they flush and clean commonly.

I personally don't piss in the shower, simply because I don't like too.

I just call BS that you can go into a bathroom and know whether or not they piss in the shower by smell like you could walk into a smokers house and know if they smoke. The tub or shower stall isnt going to retain that smell.

Why wouldn't you just take your morning piss in the shower? You don't really have to worry about aim then.

Two reasons:

1. Bleh. Sterile or not, that grosses me out. Not that I'm judging, more power to you if you don't care. Though I've known a couple of guys who would piss in their sink (or at least made the claim), which is nuts.

2. The shower in my master bath is a smallish standing shower. The bathtub is detached. Point being, first thing in the morning, "at attention", splash back. Some folks are into golden showers, I ain't one of 'em.

I used to live in a house where my bedroom was very, very far from the nearest bathroom. And if I were to walk to the bathroom during the middle of the night I'd risk waking up several people.

And so, I kept a "piss jug" by the side of the bed just in case I awoke during the night and had to whiz. I give zero fucks.
