Ever heard of The Kliq? And some people have accused that the reason because Batista (and maybe Orton too) got to high places is because they were friends with Triple H (atleast on some kind of level, as they were part of Evolution). So guys who might otherwise keep other talent down are willing to put their friends over. And even if they don't keep talent down, many people in general still rather do favors to friends than strangers. Not just in wrestling, but in life in general. But in wrestling doing so can be bad for the business and unprofessional.

This is just speculation, but there's a chance that could be the reason why Bryan won Cena in such a way, even if he himself isn't intentionally trying to use "family ties"/backstage politics as a way to advance on his career. But Bryan being the boyfriend of Cena's girlfriend's sister might've made Cena more willing to make the other guy (Bryan) look good.

Like I said, yet another Cena conspiracy theory :P
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Yeah, the Bellas dating Cena and Bryan has been common knowledge for some time. I don't personally think it had anything to do with Bryan getting a push, but it probably didn't hurt either. If there was an ulterior motive for Bryan being pushed though, it would more likely be due to the fact that the Bellas are staring on that Divas show on E network, which was actually pulling in some good ratings. I honestly think though that Bryan was just getting such a strong reaction from crowds that WWE just HAD to push him. But they stopped just short of making him the face of the company, which I think is a shame because he has what it takes to take Cena's spot. Hell, even Jericho thinks so:

"I think anybody can be the face of the company if the fans dictate it. I think sometimes the powers-that-be may have different opinions but the thing about Daniel Bryan is that his rise is very organic. It happened basically in spite of the way he was getting pushed. I think if I had to pin point a moment that it happened, it was during that eighteen second loss at WrestleMania last year where people were legitimately angry that the company could treat him that way and started to really get behind him as a character. I think when everybody is chanting his name and the guy goes out there as possibly the best wrestler in the world and a great character and a great performer, why not? You need something different to replace the one that’s on top as we saw when they were trying to replace Hulk Hogan for so many years until Bret Hart stepped up. I think he can be the face of the company if they so desired."

Getting back to the Bellas/Bryan thing, I think Brie actually looks hotter than Nikki now since Nikka got that stupid boob job and starting dressing like Cena with that baseball cap on her head. Also, it's rumored that Punk is dating AJ Lee. If he is, he's got Cena/Bryan beat

The Bellas are hot, but I have a massive crush on AJ right now. She's the hottest thing on WWE television and the true face of the women's division as far as I'm concerned. I hope rumors of Karma's return are true. She's spoken about losing weight and re-inventing herself and seems open to a WWE return. Her and AJ could have a stellar feud, especially since WWE seems to have no intention of taking the belt off AJ anytime soon. Or maybe it's time they bring up that Paige girl I keep hearing about from NXT

My roommate picked it up and so far he has said that he can see little difference between the two as far as graphics, gameplay, and control go. He said that it is like the same game with a bigger roster.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

I have heard of the Kliq, but I thought its keyfabe thing, plus I thought it just meant they were friends. Plus Triple H really didn't fit in the mix of the Kliq... Plus the Kliq do not own the WWE and I am unaware they were on good terms with Vince since Razor Ramon and Diesel double crossed Vince and jumped ship.

4 questions

1) What is the opposite of keyfabe , I forgot

2) What are the top 3 popular wrestling sites? There used to be a ton in the late 90' but since WWE stopped having competition , it seems like they all withered . I just know WrestleZone which I sent a troll email to back in '97 because I had a similarly titled wrestling site on GeoCities

3)Can you recommend any shoot videos , some wrestlers would give a lot more interesting facts others are just bland .

4)Btw, any one here knows if the Montreal Screwjob was Keyfabe or NOT

http://allwrestling.com/news/55620/back ... e-pushing/

"- Big Show is main eventing WWE's Survivor Series pay-per-view with Randy Orton because there's a renewed effort within WWE to put larger or bigger wrestlers in the spotlight. This is the reason for Show being pushed and why we've seen more of Luke Harper and The Great Khali lately.

There's a feeling that Daniel Bryan was on top for a few months and WWE's pay-per-view buyrates have been down during that period. The feeling among upper management is that Bryan isn't a larger than life wrestler and that's what fans want. They feel a guy like Bryan should be on the mid-card having great matches."

"- While Daniel Bryan isn't being fully blamed for the low WWE SummerSlam buyrate this year, there is a feeling within WWE, among upper management, that if he was a bigger guy then it would have been up."

THOSE FUCKING...IDIOTS!!!

I told you the WWE see and explain things in numbers, they do not care for quality. "If rating was higher when Cody Rhodes was on TV, then put more Cody Rhodes on TV "

But I wouldn't call the only surviving wrestling federations a bunch of idiots, I think they just do not care any more but not idiots.

nope , I never heard of that CW thing. I looked at the roster and I only recognised Spike Dudley . I am not sure if those indie federations are making any money to survive. I might be wrong, but I have hard time believing the NWA still exists.

I've heard good things about Chikara, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Dragon Gate

Chikara seems to do kid friendly RIGHT from what I hear, unlike WWE
