SF Zero 2 Dash was also released separately from SF Collection on Saturn in Japan.
Saturn also had SF2 Movie. More of an interactive movie than a standard SF game.

I got X Men Vs Street Fighter a while ago, probably my favorite 2d fighting game of all time.

The best SFA3 is the PSP version. Tons of extra characters.

It really all comes down to what you want out of game as each port for the game on each console provides something unique over the other.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:The best SFA3 is the PSP version. Tons of extra characters.
As you mentioned, the PSP port provides the largest roster of any port as a result Ingrids inclusion.
PS1 port has polygonal hit sprites.
PS2 provides the closest most accurate arcade port and give access to both Alpha 3 and Zero 3 Upper
Saturn port larger character character sprites and a reverse dramtic battle
DC port of Zero/ Alpha 3 provides ths Saikyo-ryu dojo, an expanded World Tour.
DC port of Zero 3 FMS has data sharing ability with its NAOMI Zero 3 Upper release and now defunct online play.
GBA port has the 2nd largest roster behind the PSP version.

Re: Sega Street Fighter Games
Thanks for the SF 2 Collection 1 & 2 suggestion.
I just got them, and they are already my favorite.
SF2 was my favorite on the Genesis. These Saturn versions are the same thing with better graphics. Love it!
I just wish they got rid of the slow downs though.

Yep, SF 2 Champion is probably my favorite fighting game. Love this Saturn version.
I wish MK2 was as good of an upgrade on the Saturn, not a downgrade from the Genesis version....

Re: Sega Street Fighter Games
The Capcom stuff in the Saturn/Dreamcast days was just amazing. Everything looked good and there was a ton of nuance available within the 2D genre and all you needed was a Sega console.
