I bought a laptop charger off ebay that fit the specs for the X'Eye for $8. Luckily the plug tip fits as well, so no soldering for me!

nice snag. if you get sick of the laptop charger deal check out this site. i've ordered from him a couple times (once for a Sega Trio adapter and once for a TG-16 adapter) and they've always come when they said they would, custom-built, and work like a charm. http://www.retrogamecave.com/sega-ac_adapter.html

That is an awesome find! Did you get it on Craigslist? If so, what search terms did you use to find it?

Yes but he found me. First he wanted 120 thinking it was worth 180. I politely showed him ads of them selling for 100-120 and he countered with 60. A very pleasant guy to deal with. No delusions of having a treasure.

Have a 10 hour shift today so i stopped at cash america pawn to get a ds game. Asked to get pokemon black 2. It had no case or price listed. This older manger type guy said $5. I immediately said id take it. Then he said "shoot i should probably ask $10 since it is a pokemon game". I jokily pulled a crazy person "na you said $5"."we should have shaked on that". He didnt thinkit was funny nor did he argue with me. Got it for $5.43 with tax.

At the pawn shops here, the price of games varies depending on who you ask, but for DS games it's usually $5-$7. One day I got lucky and picked up 2 copies of Phantom Hourglass, Mario Kart DS, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time for $3 each with no tax. No cases or anything but I still felt like a winner that day. haha

Very nice! I came to the realization a couple of weeks ago that NONE of the pawn shops that I go to around here even have any Gamecube games. :(
