True, BUT, of the 23 Racket STGT members participating here, only 8 submitted scores for November 2012, so this is a new pick for 2/3 of 'em. I'm part of the 1/3, and I like the pick myself because I love this game - I think it's a good pick. It plays smoother than Giga Wing, the soundtrack is AWESOME, and the mechanics are different than most shmups and take 3 seconds to understand and months to master how and when to use, so it's a good pick for STGT imo.

I've got no problem with it, it looks like November is a good month for this game It got me to finding a great deal on a pristine DC copy for $40 with the original GameStop receipt from 2003 in the manual . It was originally bought used for less than $20, everything is clean down to the disc, which is just hard to believe. It will be nice to play with my repaired X-Arcade stick too, I have the DC adapter so I can use it there and on the computer in MAME.

Well.... maybe it getting picked and me playing it will finally change the way I'll feel about it. I was gonna post something along the lines of, "Oh Lawd, would have rather played Batsugun for score, trololol"... but I know this is a solid game. Its just never clicked with me.

So, here's to (hopefully) finding another shmup to cuddle with at night.

10 people or 10 total boards. I probably have a couple buddies on racketboy forums (their also on here, just not much) who may want a Mars Matrix board for our tournament. It's coming up soon though - if you got to 10, do you know when they'd be in our hands? Our tourney is in 2 weeks so the turnaround is probably too soon...?
