I suppose I've reached the point where I'm beginning to question the point of watching TWD any longer.

I liked ep1 of season 4 quite a bit. I have high hopes that it'll be better than last season. Honestly wish the Governor weren't coming back this season. Would be fantastic if their confirmation of his presence was just a lie.

I thought it was just ok to. Tired of rick acting like a bitch, and now so is kimbo slice, lol.

Twas great.
It's finally being its own thing and feels more like a tv drama than a comic adaptation.

I thought it was an average ep, but the average episode is pretty good, so no complaints. Kind of a weak season opener though. Not sure how I feel about the huge influx of random new supporting characters.

I liked the premiere. I hear people bitching about Rick's side story, but I thought that actress putting in a stellar performance, particularly when she was asked the three questions. That got to me a bit
And c'mon, the raining zombies scene? If you didn't love that, then you really have no pulse and should join the walkers.
And yeah, at this point, the show is officially no longer a comic book adaptation. There was no trace of the comics in this episode other than the whole council thing, but the circumstances surrounding the council are nothing at all like the comics because the show's not following ANY story arc from the comics right now.

I love the comics, like the show. The writing is bad and illogical at times, but source material and characters power through the rough spots.
I actually didn't like the raining zombies. Shouldnt they have already fallen through the roof? It didn't make sense beyond 'hey lets find a way to make zombies drop from the ceiling!' The special effects and all that were cool.

I think it's because they were all moving at once. Plus, you figure the copter on the roof was taking it's toll and it's just happened that that was the moment when the roof had finally had too much stress. It was just bad timing on the survivors part.Jmustang1968 wrote:I love the comics, like the show. I like the show and I like picking on stupid shit the characters do. Like if the pig looks sick, why not ask hershal, he's a fucking vet for crying out loud. It's entertaining but fun to pick on.
