Well, Assassin's Creed should have been a 7 hour game.Pulsar_t wrote:http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=285845
Eurogamer's review is up. Hmmm it does seem to suffer a few problems. But my main gripe is with its length. 7 hours for a full priced game? I'll wait until it's cheaper.

(I don't have a PS3 or 360, so understand I have no frame of reference here.)
Sometimes a 7 hour game is all that's needed. What's the point in playing a 20-30 hour game when you only really enjoy a fourth of it?

Played the demo also on a friend's PS3, very great indeed but hoping to find out how this one comes out.UBERTRON777 wrote:I played the demo and it lived up the hype and my expectations. I thought the controls were great and I liked the environment. Can't wait for it to come out.

Seven hours is great for this game, if it was much longer, speed runs would be a royal pain. Kind of the point of the game.
First Person Platformer. Little shooting involved, likely not even required.

Downloaded it last week on my PS3, i think its a pretty cool game, i dont see why people are complaining about the controls i think they work and are simple L1 is pretty much all you need to push for all the major actions. Im looking forward to actually buying it.executioner wrote:Played the demo also on a friend's PS3, very great indeed but hoping to find out how this one comes out.UBERTRON777 wrote:I played the demo and it lived up the hype and my expectations. This game looks to be the ultimate game to rent.
Kind of like Crackdown, it is a fun as hell game, but there is only so much you can do after a while.
(Not that there isn't already a crapload of games that don't have replayability, hell, I've bought both Braid and Portal... but I don't consider Mirror's Edge on their level).

Well I can say that the theme song and its 5 remixes are pretty awesome. Always love Junkie XL's contributions, whenever I find them.

Re: Mirror's Edge
It seems that if game was beyond 7 hours it would get really repetitive. FPS are normally only 6-8 hours and people do not complain about the price for hours it takes to beat the main game.
