Sonic Shuffle - Not For Resale?

Post by Solidus »

Sonic Shuffle, the pretty awful clone of Mario Party, just so happened to fall into my lap the other day from a yard sale. I couldn't help notice, however, that both the case and the CD have a "Not For Resale" logo imprinted on them. I know that usually means that it was sold as a bundle with the console, but I haven't been able to find any evidence to support that it WAS sold bundled with a console. Could someone confirm that it was bundled, at some point, or do I have a bit of an oddity on my hands here?

Thanks in advance,
--George.

It was included as part of the Sonic Harware Bunle:

I suspect it is rarer than the "regular" version of the game, but I would not expect it to be significanlt rarer or more expensive.

It inspired a little reseach, however; so, it is definitely a cool find!

I actually bought my Dreamcast in a bundle that came with Sonic Shuffle and Sonic Adventure.

Did you happen to know that both the Mario Party series (up to 8) and Sonic Shuffle were developed by Hudson Soft?
