Yes. One they had better fix. Nintendo is pretty frustrating at times. But the 3DS has such awesome games this year.Stark wrote:So it's just the WiiU with this issue?ZenErik wrote:Even digitally all you have to do is a system transfer. Boy do they. FE, SMTIV, Luigi, NSMB2, LoS:MoF ... I'm sure there is more I'm not thinking of.ZenErik wrote:Yes. One they had better fix. Nintendo is pretty frustrating at times. Yeah dood, FEA and SMT IV have easily been two favorite games this year. Mirror of Fate is damn good. Luigi and NSMB2 are on my list. The new Zelda is super high priority for me.Stark wrote: Boy do they. FE, SMTIV, Luigi, NSMB2, LoS:MoF ... I'm sure there is more I'm not thinking of.
Etrian Odyssey IV looks good, along w/ the remake. Then there's the remake of Soul Hackers. Oh and Sonic Lost World is coming out soon. Definitely an awesome year for 3DS.

New Zelda looks off the hook. I didn't care for EOIV, but I really like those kind of dungeon crawlers, so I'm not sure what I didn't like about it. You should grab the demo first if it's still available.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
yeah that Zelda is serious for me. Like, it went from I wasn't interested in 3DS, and then Project X Zone was announced and I was like "Ok, starting to get interested in 3DS" and then the Zelda was announced and I was like "I'm gonna buy a 3DS right now."
Too bad PXZ didn't keep me as interested as I had hoped.
I don't really know much about EO series to begin with. Just saw some pretty screens. I actually tend to forget that 3DS demos exist haha.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Mmm.. I feel bad for the Vita for I love the hardware more than my 3DS XL. And I love PSN. But 3DS definitely wins this year. In 2012 I would tip the scales in Vita's favor because 3DS had an OKAY line up and Vita had some of my all time favorites. Like P4G and Project DIVA F.
I think next year may be a bit more balanced between the two with strength of games lineup but still probably in favor of the 3DS. We shall see! Indie cross buys w/ PS4 and Vita will help.
As for EO. I haven't played it much, but from what little I have seen I would sort of recommend it over Soul Hackers. Although SH is still worth playing as a SMT series fan. But for the 3DS I would try to push you more towards Devil Survivor Overclocked. Much better game, I think.

What's that?Stark wrote: LoS:MoF
Also it's funny, till 2012 I couldn't find enough games on the 3DS to justify purchasing one, now there are so many games I don't have time/money for even 1/4th of the ones I want
It doesn't help that I chose the 2 longest games in my list to buy (Fire Emblem Awakening = 25 hours, and Harvest Moon A New Begining = MMO territory of time spent playing)

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate. Way to long to write out.ZeroAX wrote:What's that?Stark wrote: LoS:MoF

The series rules. So thankful that all 5 games were localized.noiseredux wrote: I don't really know much about EO series to begin with. Just saw some pretty screens. I actually tend to forget that 3DS demos exist haha.
And yeah 2013 is a great year to get into the 3DS. 2014 looks solid too, seems as if Bravely Default is going to be released quarter one. Time to get on to localizing Dragon Quest VII Squeenix.
