I imagine this:

Subject: Question?

Mr. __________

Can I marry your daughter?

Thanks,

Hal

I told my Father he should have not responded, and when asked why to say "It went straight to Junk Mail". Seriously, fudge this guy. Learning about this really, really pissed me off (although it shouldn't, it does). I don't even want to visit them at all anymore as, well, I'm a little vocal when it comes to my thoughts (shocking!) and I want to tell this guy I can't disrespect someone who I don't respect at all in the first place.

And Mr.Poopers, I would say a surprise proposal would have been much better than an email.

AN EMAIL.

Not even a phone call. I'm surprised a man with no balls has fathered two children.

I do have someone in the area that can help me if I get stuck, but I'm still freaking out. I hate asking for help but I will if I need to. I get really discouraged when I run into problems and just don't want to do it anymore though.
Office hours. They are your friend in so many ways. I'm terrible at math and had to spend a few lunch hours with my TA to get it down but it worked in my favor since he was able to explain it to me in a way I understood (that wouldn't work with a whole class) and when it came time to dole out any extra credit or allow a re-test, my prof knew I was putting in the work.
I'm not on campus for the prerequisites, so I would have to ask online. The problem with that is I will most likely have to wait for an answer as opposed to him being right there. My former 8th grade teacher lives just north of me though, and is the only teacher that got me to care enough about school to make me an A B student. She is a math major, and has already said to come to her for tutoring. She knows how I think, so her offer to help is a comfort. Still makes me nervous though. When I look at numbers they reverse themselves sometimes, so it takes me twice as long to do a simple equation because I check my work multiple times.

I did find out an interesting tidbit though with the information email from the school. Apparently I am student #13. I giggled at that.

Nothing's better than being on campus but that's really the next best thing. What will you be majoring in?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Mortuary Science. I chose the online option because the schedules won't work out with Jinx's work. I do have to go on campus for certain classes though, and when I went to the open house, the Professor did tell me that if I want to sit in a class to understand better that I was welcome to do so.

Lol, of all the things I would have guessed, that wouldn't have even been on the list. It makes sense, though. As a friend of mine told me last year when he was explaining why he was so heavily invested in coffin production companies, it's definitely a growth industry.

Well, not only is there job security, It's also a rewarding career. To be able to help people cope through their time of loss and to ensure that the person's body will be taken care of in a respectable manner are things that I look forward to doing. I like taking care of people, and going into something that combines my curiosities and personality traits seems to be the right thing for me.

lol. I'm just really excited to be a part of this. I probably would send anyone interested in their direction though. They have accreditations that a lot of other schools in the south don't have. I lucked out in the history department as well. For Funeral History, we actually get to go through the attached Museum of Funeral Service for our lessons instead of just reading about them.

I also get into the museum for free and if I bring family or friends to check it out, I believe they get a discounted rate.

If they offer a soylent green elective I recommend you take it. It might not be useful today, but someday we'll realize our current funeral customs are a massive waste of space.

You are far too hopeful.
