Most aren't designed for that, just adapted.

Ecigs and Vape Pens work the same. The liquid is pulled through and touches a powered "atomizer" (see: heating element) that vaporizes the liquid and then you breath in the water vapor. Ecigs were sometimes called personal vaporizers, there is no difference in their function.

It is just when people talk about a pen they usually have one that they can mix and use their own liquids in a larger canister on the device. Ecigs typically just use a replaceable pre-measured cartridge.

Enlighten me to the difference. Usually when I hear people say vaporizer pen, they just mean the ones designed to work with weed.

Ecigs - Premade liquid shit

Vape - Real tobacco of your choice (hence the reason people use it for bud/dabbing)

Although they also do well for dabbing if you're into that.

Edit: You could also smoke these. They're better than most stogies because it's natural tobacco and non-addictive.

If they are just burning the plant they aren't using a vaporizer, even if they say it is one. At that point it is just a heating element burning the plant instead of fire.

You can't make vapor from something that isn't a liquid, pretty straight forward.

People who use real vaporizers for weed make Cannabis oil and mix it just like people who use nicotine in regular ecigs.

I know what dabbing is, dude. It might not be true for handheld vapes but I know for a fact that you can smoke tobacco from volcano vapes though. It might be possible but not practical.

Incorrect. Many chemicals, like THC and Nicotine, have flash points where they turn into vapor well before the thing that chemical is stuck to (in this case, a plant) burns. This is how most vaporizers work.
