Giving the "one second" gesticulation is a perfectly fine thing to do, opening your mouth while food is in it is vomit inducing.

I was always confused by the fact that people get disgusted by looking at chewed food but find it delicious to gulp(when its in their own mouths) . I feel the same way too... must by a psychological thing.

It's like how when your bathroom gets somewhat dirty you aren't really that bothered by it, but if you saw someone else's bathroom in the same condition you would be aghast.

I don't know why this has become a trend, but lately trolls of the European variety have been making it a goal of theirs to get butthurt every time an American refers to the US as America. Because, don't you know, Canadians and Argentinians refer to themselves as Americans all the time.

Jeff Foxworthy was once asked how a redneck would use the word European. He responded, "European on my boot."

Let the trolls be butthurt over a name. It keeps them from having to think about Greece.

"America" is the country. "North America" and "South America" are the contintents. If you refer to the 2 contintents together, they are called "The Americas."
