Frown: Too far away to meet Dsh and Luke for breakfast.

One of these days Luke you and I are going to be in Chicago at the same time, and we'll have to get together.

Had a nice chat with Luke, who I was shocked to learn never wears socks or shoes in any context. I'll let him elaborate on his long strange trip to a suburban Target Starbucks, but suffice to say he was a pleasure to meet. He also took a picture of the two of us, which I am sure he can be goaded into posting for you to cheer or jeer.

So you met in Chicago?

Interesting how two members who live nowhere near each other can find ways to meet up. Pretty cool actually.

I have met prfsnl_gmr...... Twice.

dish I will see you at PAX East this time around.

No, we met about 20 minutes from where I am staying today and about 30 minutes or so from Luke's house.

Looking forward to Boston :D

:( I really need to quit going to dances, especially of the school variety. Just really leave me in a bad mood overall, and it gets everybody in encouragement mode, which makes me feel like a jackass when I don't respond in a positive way.

Right under my lip hurts pretty badly, right on my chin. I think I punched myself in the face while I was sleeping or something...

 Although it took me two hours to finally get to Rocky Mount.I thought for sure Dave thought I would flake out, but he was patient enough to wait up for me.

Pretty sure the first thing Dave said to me was, "Hi Luke! So, um, this is how you dress on Saturdays?". Had my brain had a decent night's sleep I would have said "Nah, I usually have a jacket".

Speaking to Dave is like speaking to a friend you haven't seen in a while. Polite, engaging, thoughtful, and witty. He didn't even mention that my pants kept falling down or that I don't wear shoes.
