Why should you buy the PS4?

I'll probably dive in when MGSV comes out.
Re: Why should you buy the PS4?
I don't think it can be called overrated, was there really much hype surrounding it? I know it was generally well received but I don't think it had awards piling up or anything. I thought it was good enough for what it was, certainly not a piece of trash compared to a lot of other fodder of the same genre available for the system.Reprise wrote:I wouldn't wait for Infamous. Ah crap..... What have you done??? I don't need excuses to grab it at launch. And don't forget Resogun either... that looks great.oxymoron wrote: Exactly. Some people are saying they're going to wait for Infamous which is a few months after release. That means you spend the same amount of money but don't get the free copy of Driveclub.
I also disagree for the same reasons.Stark wrote:Disagree, because reasons.Reprise wrote:I wouldn't wait for Infamous. The first game was an overrated piece of trash.

I got Infamous free after the hacking incident, and I liked it enough to finish it. Three stars if you ask me. It wasn't trash, but whenever I tried to punch someone or climb something I kept thinking about how much better Sly 2 is.

Re: Why should you buy the PS4?
I was exaggerating my thoughts, to be honest. I just didn't like the game. I don't know why. A lot of people raved about it, the reviews were good and a lot of people recommended it, so I picked it up, but I didn't like the game at all.brunoafh wrote:I don't think it can be called overrated, was there really much hype surrounding it? I'm with the shiny-new-things crowd. I already made a space for one at home. I have two reserved, so the second one will go in my office. I will buy an Xbox One if it gets a ton of exclusive shoot-em-ups like the 360.

I'll probably buy a PS3 copy used after it comes out as well.
But, I want the game I've been shown for a year, and the closest target appears to be the PS4 version. Everything they've shown has been PC, but there's no PC talk ... and frankly, I want a disc without importing it. That's just not something Konami would do on PC in North America. So: PS4.
