Well, it sounds a little like the -monogatari series. I might get into it later. Thanks.

Gasaraki does indeed fix many of the problems with Evangelion, though it also falls prey to some of the others in the same way Evangelion does. I think Gasaraki's problem is not the quality of the show, but the way so many people perceive it to be a wanna-be, an also-ran.

I enjoyed Gasaraki quite a bit more than Eva, which doesn't say much, unfortunately, because I became quickly disenchanted with Eva. Eva wasn't so much the tip of the iceberg as it was a smokescreen.

I've been watching RWBY, it's good, but the animation leaves a bit to be desired.

I've been watching Black Lagoon. I'm only 8 episodes in, but I'm really enjoying it so far.

Caught up on RQBY. Real short eps,(3-5 min) and the pilot is only twelve minutes. Watching World God Only Knows Goddesses.

Great stuff, unfortunately left a little open in the long run. Wasn't too hot on the newer OVA either, but the budget/action was awesome.

I just finished black lagoon too.

I also liked its big action scenes.

I also saw the second barrage. It was okay too. My only gripe is that it focused too much on japan.

I liked the high seas, tropical, rumble-tumble action of season one.

I would like a season three too if it existed.

Maybe its just the romantic in me, but I think Revy and Rock would make an okay couple......

Or I have been watching too many Tsundere anime.

Black Lagoon is done and, I must say, I really enjoyed it. It looked gorgeous, it sounded great, and it was filled with much action-packed goodness. Although, all that action made reading the subtitles a little tricky for me. I pulled it off, though. Hurray for the pause button  (This series my require another viewing, via the dub.)

While I'd like more of it (and really, my only complaint about it is that there isn't more of it) I've read mixed things about the OVA, so I'll hold off on that for a little while.

The World God Only Knows: Goddesses is the best in the series so far. Now that Keima actually has to deal with the consequences of his actions. The "Ending" of a dating VN is just the beginning of a real relationship, but I doubt he'll even get that far!

The last episode kind of frustrated me though. Maybe because I was a big fan of Chihiro and Ayumi. The regular high school girls ended up being a lot more interesting than the overdone stereotypes. Definitely because I had a lot of respect for Keima up to this point. He had to do some questionable things, but it was to keep his head from getting chopped off. He's always been as gentle as possible 'til now.

I don't hate him now or anything. I get why he freaked out and I know what that feels like. I just thought he had more self-control. Wonder if he'll ever be able to fix things between him and Chihiro. Doubt it. Maybe it would be too sweet. This is the kind of show that doesn't have to end well and always keeps you curious.
Keima should have just made out with Chihiro. She confesses her love for him, love that wasn't caused by his manipulations and love that he couldn't control. He felt something he didn't know how to deal with and regressed to being a huge jerk because he didn't know what to do.

Even if he decides not to kiss her, "I just don't feel that way about you" is way better than "I hated you for making fun of me and decided to get revenge by breaking your heart. By the way, I like badly drawn anime girls better than you."

He had no idea Ayumi was watching him, but kissing Chihiro would have been no worse than breaking her heart. Both options will make her difficult to "conquer."
Would be nice if the show gave us more details on the power of the goddesses and why all of the sisters have to be assembled. Don't you think the five would be powerful enough to accomplish their goal? The worldbuilding has always been pretty loose.
