PS2 Adventures Cookie & Cream - $5.00 BookOff
Ahh, a duel stick game my favorite! Control each character with an analog stick apiece. Work as a team to open passages for each other. A sort of puzzle platformer scrolling to the top, very nice multi tasking game. WiiU Nintendo Land also used the same duel stick two creature control for the Animal Crossing level.

PS2 Escape Monkey Island - $5.00 Swap Meet
At first I thought this would require the SmartJoy Frag for using a mouse. Turns out not a point and click, the Duel shock works nicely, movement controlled by the analog stick.

PS2 Okage Shadow King - $0.99 PlaynTrade
Another game rescued from their sun damaged under five dollar dump bin. The game is in great shape, must have been a recent trade in. Old style 3d RPG, a lot of dialog to slug thru to see the monsters later on.

PS2 Van Helsing - $5.00 BookOff
I was really surprised by the quality of this movie based game. Its no God Of War, but still pretty good with the vampire theme.

PS2 NTSCJ Ghost Vibration - $5.00 BookOff
Had to get this since its so obscure, Ack even posted a review on it. A Ghostbusters style game, but with are you freeken kidding me only forward walking movement!? Switch to first person view as in Fatal Frame to capture the ghosts while keeping the mark on target. The game is boring with continual move forward then stop to capture ghosts, but does have interesting Resident Evil inspired camera jump shots and is different as an addition to the collection.

GBA Rhythm Tengoku - FREE from botolo
Ooooooh Yeah! I have been wanting this game for a while, got this for free from a very very generous member. I returned the favor by a surprise shipment of games. There is a U.S Wii and DSI Rhythm Heaven game, but this GBA Japan only release is the best!

Think Wario Ware Inc with its crazy themed mini games, add extra time per level and button timing presses of Space Channel 5. Silly me, I accidentally erased the save file. Ah well, forces me to play thru each and every level, a fun ride. I do miss the remix level which was a smattering of levels in one game play, lost in that game save. Oh, I can see a lot of time spent on this crazy game, can't wait to unlock the remixes again!

Maybe noise might get inspired to get back into the Gameboy again?

Rhythm Tengoku belongs more in the WarioWare family than the psychedelic, high-energy, possibly stimulant-fueled world of rhythm-action. It is much simpler and nowhere near as challenging as most modern music games, but its appeal is altogether more universal. Its rhythm-based mini-games work in a ladder system - complete the five little challenges in each ladder and you unlock a remix, which is a combination of all of them with a new musical twist. Completing remixes unlocks new ladders of games, which offer either new, more difficult twists on earlier mini-games or new rhythm concepts. None of them require anything more than timed button-presses from the player, and all of them, from the clap-along singing to bunny-marching to the extra-terrestrial baseball, are wonderfully bonkers.
PS2 Blood Will Tell - $4.49 Gamestop
I broke my vow in buying disc games as non CIB. I blame Metal Jesus Video Reviews for this, I really had to check out both of these games. Especially glad I did for Blood Will Tell, a different sort of Samurai vengeance story. Good game, worth having a backup once I buy a CIB version later on.

PS2 Killer 7 - $1.79 Gamestop
Eventually I'll pick up the better Gamecube version, for now a hold over. A little disappointing in movement of just forward or reverse and choosing a path. Definitely a unique game with "bright art" though.

Gratz on Rhythm Tengoku - I know it has been on your want list awhile, and getting it free is just an added bonus.

Two stops today... Struck out at a garage sale. Then hit a regular flea market stop.

Found 2 good deals

Alone in the dark (no manual, clean discs) - 6.00

Clock tower (CIB and clean) - 5.00

I've been trying to find a fair priced copy of clocktower, for $5 that's a steal.

Bought a box of Genesis and DC stuff from a girl off Craigslist, including cart only Rister and a CIB Rocket Knight Adventures. I now have three Dreamcasts.......

The real "look what I found" though was her and I getting together to hang out this week. We got to talking and she was really cool, likes hunting for games too, etc. What a combo of finds eh? Ya just never know I guess.

Hook them all up with the same game and try to play it 3 times at the same time...

Thought I struck out today :P. Got to one of the local flea markets around 1:30 and after about an hour of walking around hadn't found anything spectacular enough to bother picking up. So we were on our way back when we spotted a yard sale at the side of the road. By then it was around 3pm so we were expecting it to have been pretty fairly picked over, but I was in luck.

Ended up getting

Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem(GC) *CIB*- $5
Dino Crisis 2(PS1) *Loose*- $2 Finally have the whole series :).
Crash Bandicoot(PS1) *loose*- $2
Atomic Purple N64 Controller- $2

Plus the last of his Nintendo Games for $5
The Little Mermaid
Robo Cop
Bases Loaded II
Nintendo World Cup
Rad Racer II
2x Dust covers

Plus he bundled it all for $13 when I went to pay. We are going back tomorrow to possibly pick up a tool box for my brothers truck so I might clean him out some more :).

Goodwill:

Super Monkey Ball (Gamecube/Complete): $1.50
Mario Bros Game and Watch (MINT): $.49 cents

Doesn't even look like the G&W was played. No batteries to test, but I'm confident it works. There is no corrosion and it doesn't have any musty/old electronics smell either!

Dragon Age Origins PS3 - Great condition, $5 at an anime convention. Pretty rare to get good prices at a con, but I'm quite happy with it!

I told myself, Project Diva F is the last game I will buy this year. After that, work on my backlog and make a good trade if it comes up.
