A good moderator never has to do work. He sets such a golden example that newbies cannot help but behave.

Or he has a scary avatar. Either one works.

I use the "View Active Topics" link to keep up on posts.

As for the site
I like the size of the community. Not to big not to small. Everyone here is mature. The articles/ how 2s are very informative.
I can find threads on many different topics in gaming.
no longer need a "Sony Board" and a "SNES board" etc..
I can go to one place for all of my retro gaming needs.

Bah, compared to Ouchy the Clown those are all tame. The Robotnik one comes close, though.

Well, I thought maybe Mozgus had to work at being so cantankerous but maybe it just comes naturally. :)

My only complaint would have to be users posting eBay links in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum instead of just posting items for sale. Kind of defeats the ideal of users doing business with each other here if they have to compete in bid wars with people outside the forum.

especially when they are a one post wonder out to get interest in their auctions :evil:
