He couldn't look me in the eyes, he constantly fidgeted, and he smelled like bong water. After asking "Why are you interested in this internship" and "Why do you think you are the best fit for this position" he was dismissed. Shortest interview I've ever held.
Why would you go to an interview under the influence of anything? What a moron.
Because dude, stoners think that it'll get there "mind right". But in all reality they look like vegetables.

My guess, if he was stoned and not just a fidgety nervous person, he was either a habitual smoker who is always stoned or did so to try and get over those nerves for the interview. More often than not it is a bad decision.

Yup.

We all make mistakes, and I bet he thought "A binger would ease the stress" and his calculation was way off. I would hire someone who smokes pot in their own home for recreational use. I would never hire someone who shows up to an interview stoned. He wasted my time, and his.

Here's something I've always wondered:

Why are they called textiles?

I don't think textile e-commerce dudes are screened for performance enhancing narcotics if that's what you're asking.

I'm pretty sure they do a simple drug test before hiring someone. Idk how you got PED's into this?

Ive been at my current company for eight years and never had a drug test passed the first one. My company does random screenings but Ive never heard of anyone having to do one. I also work at a fortune 500 company.

HR works for me, not the other away around (although I do pay HR when it comes down to the bottom line, which is dumb). I'm free to hire who I want when I want.
